From the Auchentoshan distillery in the Scottish Lowlands comes a triple distilled single malt Scotch whisky aged entirely in first fill American oak casks. A light, bright whisky with plenty of vanilla sweetness at its centre - great as an aperitif dram.
Oranges and lemons, toffee chunks and milk chocolate. Wafts of grassy air and clotted cream.
Bounty bars, more citrus peels and peaches. A little bit buttery, with golden barley and oak spice developing on the mid palate.
Lasting notes of grapefruit and toffee pennies.

Young, sweet & sharp. Tastes like jamesons. Move on....
Hi bought the single malt American oak in Northern Ireland last September for Christmas 21. Very sorry to say that it has to be one of if not the poorest whiskey I've tasted. I'd have to say it tasted very watery and no wow factor, which is what I was expecting after a good recommendation. Is it whiskey at all??
We normally drink Highland Park but was gifted your Auchentoshan 12 year. A beautiful and smooth sipping whiskey. We are changing brands, Thank you. Gordon, Ontario Canada
Our scotch tasting group has been active for 19 years and this is the scotch we use as an introduction to new members. It’s somewhat sweet and smooth and a good one to spring on bourbon drinkers. I always have one on hand.
Its easy to spot those that know from those that dont and post bizarre impossibly bad reviews. Nice and smooth and simply easy to enjoy. You cannot go wrong in its style for the price.
