Arran 8 Year Old 2013 – Sweetdram
A sherried single malt from the Arran Distillery, which has been independently bottled by Sweetdram. Back in 2013, this whisky was distilled and filled into a first-fill sherry hogshead, and that's where it stayed for eight years, before being bottled up in November 2011. A release of 313 bottles.

Nose
Dried fruit galore, with a familiar grassy Arran hint or two.
Palate
Golden Grahams, chocolate sauce, festive spices, and diced prunes.
Finish
A smidge of cigar box salinity peeks out from behind the sherried richness on the finish.
