The first 21 year old single malt released for the Arran core range, launched at the tail end of 2018! An excellent Island whisky, showing off the glorious characteristic Arran fruit notes and how delicious they are paired with well-matured oak richness.
Nose: Oak-y cinnamon and walnut, fresh apricot and pineapple, a hint of prune.
Palate: Orange chocolate, damson jam, mango, hay, subtle charred cedar notes developing.
Finish: Candied peels, a hint of herbaceous thyme and basil.

Astonishing whisky with a long and full taste. Bought sample together with other 21 and 24 year old whiskies and this one stands on top!

Having been an Arran fan for many years I got my bottle home the other day and wow, what a whisky. Nose and palate astonishing with thick layers of yumminess! The taste remained forever and this bottle is a screaming buy in my book.
