Arran 18 Year Old Bottling Note

Arran 18 Year Old Reviews

shocking!

More than 25 nopes more than when I bought it 2 months ago... Shocking!

This is a good whisky but trust me buy the 10yo you won't be disappointed either.

Good but not good value

Bought this a month ago o MOM for £82.

1) Is it better Than the 10yo = Yes, richer & a little more compressed so time in the glass helps.

2) Does it still have that Arran signature = Yes, most definitely.

3) Is it twice as good as the 10yo as the price tag would sugest = Hell no! Not worth the xtra money at £82 let alone the £17 increase in price since last month...

IMO buy 2 x 10yo instead! It's great too & way better bang for your buck, plus you'll baulk less at sharin' it with friends ;)

Very nice

Really good whisky, loved the nose, palate, and finish, really well-balanced and absolutely worth trying. The only place i'd say it falls short is the mouthfeel which lacks in viscosity - I do like the oily, thick mouthfeel and it doesn't have that but, apart from that minor gripe, it's really good.

Amazing

Arran never disappoint. Huge fan of their Sauternes, Cote Rotie & Amarone, so I thought I'd give the 18 a go. Easily the best malt on my shelf
