Released in 2014 to take the place of the Ardmore Traditional, the Legacy brings a lightly-peated, wood spice-led flavour profile to the table. At its core, the Ardmore Legacy is made with 80% peated and 20% unpeated malt.

Poured down the drain, revolving, worst whiskey I have ever tasted, like a mixture of turpentine and peat. Never want to taste again.
Quite agressive smoke up front maybe from young whisky but mixes with the following spice, heather and honey. Perhaps for the price you could do better but would recommend if on offer
Quite stunned at the number of reviewers who call this harsh. It's a little 'bitter' on the nose but for those who prefer a cube of ice in a dram it softens the nose and also sweetens the palate. It will never be an award winner as it's pretty one-dimensional (gentle peat with a very light brush of smoke) but as a 'gentle midweeker', there are far, far worse out there.
i got ardmore as a xmas gift. aroma is good, taste a bit peaty for my pallet, not a bad malt but poor for what else is on the market. reading the reviews, so many say whiskey only scotch is spelt whisky, please no more E in the name.
young and harsh, simply poor quality some young nas is better at this price
