Ardmore 8yo #708607 Bottling Note

Single cask Ardmore single malt, independently bottled by Berry Brother & Rudd. This was aged for 8 years, from 2008 to 2017, and bottled at cask strength without chill filtration or additional colouring - so you can taste the whisky as if you were swiping a dram from the Ardmore warehouse yourself.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fresh citrus peels, soft vanilla and a light whisper of BBQ smoke.

Palate: Peaty heat starts to pick up on the palate, developing notes of toasted oak and burnt ends. Still sweet with vanilla and orchard fruit.

Finish: Honey-roasted ham crisps.

Ardmore 8 Year Old 2008 (cask 708607) - Berry Bros. & Rudd Reviews

Very good if you like peat.

Reminded me a bit of Ardbeg 10. Strong peat but very hearty and malty. Great flavor and some good complexity for an 8 year old whisky.
