6 year old Ardmore single malt, presented as part of Italian bottler Hidden Spirits' Young Rebels Collection No.4. There's a chameleon atop a pagoda roof on the label. We're not sure why, but that doesn't make it any less pleasing.
Earthy tobacco and ash, with sweeter hints of floral citrus and honey'd cereal underneath.
Smoke rises at the fore, with lingering caramelised nuts and lemongrass.
Brioche, coffee and fizzy oak spices.
The Italian bottler picked this cask well, just the right amount of sweetness has rubbed this spirit up nicely. Fresh and aromatic peat dominate the palate but never insult it. Bravo!
