Ardmore 2011 #801902 Bottling Note

Indie Ardmore here, bottled up by Italy's Samaroli! This expression was distilled in 2011 and left to age in cask #801902, before eventually being bottled up in 2021 at 45% ABV. It's got a chess-themed label, featuring specifically the horse piece which moves in an awkward way. Never was a big fan of that one. Always preferred the castle.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Smoky bacon crisps and candied peels, with a malty backdrop.

Palate: Salted nuts, a smidge of heather honey, cooling mint leaf.

Finish: Peppery, cumin powder, caramel.
