An independently bottled Ardmore single malt Scotch whisky, drawn from a refill barrel that was filled in 2000 and cracked open in 2014. It was a joint bottled between The Whisky Agency and La Maison du Whisky, with 189 bottles produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Smoky red peppers, grist and a hint of flaky pastries.
Palate
Fruity at first, with green grapes and juicy cherries. Soon enough, the peat wins out and BBQ smoke takes over.
Finish
Lasting malty notes, with toasted bread and slightly fiery cinnamon.
