A superb single cask bottling, independently released by Auld Goonsy's Malt. This single malt was distilled at Ardmore in July 2008 and left to rest in a peaty Islay whisky barrel! After 12 years of maturation in June 2021, the cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled up, with a total outturn of 258 bottles.
Honey roasted nuts, oak-smoked salt, zesty citrus, and vanilla wafers.
Charred oak, coastal smoke, sweeter notes of tropical fruit, and a peppery oak prickle.
Salted almonds, peat smoke, and toasted sourdough with honey with salted butter.
