Clydebuilt Anchorsmith (Ardgowan)
This blended malt Scotch whisky was created by Max McFarlane, the previous lead whisky maker at Edrington (including Highland Park) and now master whisky maker at Ardgowan Distillery. It's a combo of six distinctive single malts from Lowland, Highland, and Speyside distilleries matured in oloroso sherry casks, and bottled at a satisfying 46% ABV.

Nose
Dark notes of cherry chocolate, raisins, sticky sherried fruits, and lemon drizzle cake.
Palate
Jammy dark fruits, floral stone fruits, banana loaf, molasses, and candied nuts.
Finish
Floral malt and earthy tea, dried citrus, and chewy sherried oak.
