Ardbeg 25 Year Old Vintage Y2K 70cl Whisky

The third and final release in Ardbeg’s Vintage Y2K series, drawn from spirit distilled in 2000* during a period of regeneration for the Islay distillery. After long maturation in bourbon casks, the 25-year-old whisky was finished in Spanish Tempranillo red wine casks from Bodega Numanthia. That makes it the first Vintage Y2K release to use wine casks from another Moët Hennessy house. The single malt Scotch whisky was bottled at 48% ABV.
