“Having just tasted this blind, I was blown away by the complexity of this whisky and the length of the finish. If you like a peaty whisky then you can't go wrong with this one :-)”

Description

The most heavily peated Ardbeg ever released. In our humble opinion, this is the best of the heavily peated whiskies available today. Top tip - this whisky makes a lot more sense if you 'build up' to it with several other Ardbegs first.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Nose

Incredible aroma, top quality tequila, toffee, vanilla. Quite sweet, youthful. Peaty, but not what you'd expected. Floral, dry.

Palate

Mescal, chili, smoked paprika, medicinal, huge peat. Very big fruit, sweet.

Finish

Massive spices, peppercorns, charcoal, chilli, nutmeg.

Incredible!
