Ardbeg goes Ardcore! This limited edition expression from the distillery on Islay was made with roasted black malt, giving it an intense flavour profile, which is described as being "like biting a spiky ball" on the label. Not a tasting note we've ever seen before. It's got plenty of punk livery on its label, so stick on something loud, pour a glass, and enjoy!

Nose
Tarry ropes, grapefruit zest, toasted bread, menthol, lasting peat reek.
Palate
Anise, more citrus flashes, ash, mint, vanilla pod, and roasted barley.
Finish
Salty liquorice, leather, and cedar.
