Lord of the Isles Bottling Note

One malt to rule them all. An incredible dram, Whisky Mag recommended, Lord of the Isles is an exquisite Ardbeg, matured for 25 years. This is rich, full-bodied, with good sweetness.

This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Ardbeg Lord Of The Isles 25 Year Old Reviews

Exceptional quality, bravo!

Good but not that good

A great Ardbeg but not as weighty as you'd expect. This is a very refined dram, perhaps too refined for a 25 yo Ardbeg. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The Rollercoaster offers more punch and some of the private bottelings around this age offer more smooth-old-age-Ardbeg that you would expect. I would say, in short, a great dram but at a quarter the price.
