Unpeated Annandale single malt Scotch whisky here, distilled in 2017, and then aged in a single European oak oloroso sherry butt that was conditioned for two years before being sent over to the distillery to be filled with new make malt spirit. At Annandale distillery, everything is bottled without chill-filtration or any artificial colouring.
Stewed apple, golden syrup, dried fruits.
Malty, fresh herbs, coffee, walnuts.
The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering warmth and spice. Creamy toffee, vanilla, spicy nutmeg, hints of cake mix with Christmas pudding, dates and raisins.

My family with five adults visited the Distillery in July 2024. It was a fascinating and informative afternoon. The taster pack for the designated driver was much appreciated and I enjoyed it later. The purchased bottle was much treasured.
