Annandale Man O’Words Bourbon Cask (cask 149)
This is a single cask unpeated single malt from the Annandale distillery in the Lowlands, drawn from a once-used ex-bourbon cask. The distillery's first whiskies were released in 2018, and these expressions were released in early 2019 - showing off that Annandale has plenty of ace whisky yet to come!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon meringue pie, shortbread and quince.
Palate
Floral barley arrives first, followed by orange juice and honey.
Finish
Cantaloupe, white pepper and a hint of pine resin.
