The second edition of Amrut Two Continents, this is aged in refill bourbon barrels, and there are just 1,260 bottles in the world. Very good indeed!
Fried banana, pine forest floor, butter toffee, rich oak, sultanas, fruit scones, over-ripe fruit and pepper.
Vibrant and fruity, rich with malt, leather, cedar and toasted barley, a little almond and fruit.
Good length with notes of spice, nutmeg and cedar wood.

It is matured first in India where because of its climate the Angel’s share is as much as 12% of the original volume. It then spends several years in Scotland or other undisclosed region in Europe to finish. This distillate is of a limited release with all bottles numbered. Only 360 bottles (mine is numbered 321) were sent to the USA with 900 going to Europe. M rating: 4Ms MMMM’s Cost: __$100 __ Dominick M. Maino, reviewer
