Description
A 25 year old single malt from Allt-á-Bhainne, independently bottled by Murray McDavid for its Mission Gold series. Matured for a total of 25 years, 22 of which were spent in bourbon hogsheads, before a final three years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This is a glorious addition to the Mission Gold collection, top-notch, gold standard Speyside single malt!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttercream vanilla cupcakes, fruit and nut chocolate, juicy barley.
Palate
Tangy fruit with dried orange and marmalade, a touch of tart rhubarb, more milk chocolate, increasing oak spice.
Finish
Sweet sponge cake, vanilla pod, ginger cake, pepper.
