A mysterious single malt from Alistair Walker, hailing from one of the nine distilleries on Islay! It was distilled in July 2006, and spent its 14 years of ageing in a single hogshead. It was released for the Infrequent Flyers series with an outturn of 257 bottles at 57.7% ABV, with some creamy sweetness among the smoky notes.
Earthy peat, with bonfire smoke, medicinal touches and grassy sweetness.
Sweet and smoky, with barbecued banana and burnt brown sugar leading into vanilla buttercream and salted caramel.
Maple syrup and smoky bacon linger.
