Description
A striking single cask bottling from Adnams – one of our favourite English distilleries, making one of our favourite rye whiskies on the planet! Distilled in 2016 and matured in a French oak wine cask, we filled just 340 bottles of this characterfully complex yet gluggable nine-year-old rye. The label has pure ‘90s retro football kit vibes and we’re sure plenty of you will recognise which particular England shirt inspired it. It’s a shame we can’t make a Tony Adams/Adnams joke as he didn’t make the England 1990 World Cup squad. Surely the greatest consequence of him struggling to contain Marco Van Basten in ‘88.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy and spicy, woody and sweet, very appetising.
Palate
Tasty, textured, orange-cream, ginger, Victoria sponge, honey. Full of character and complexity but gluggable.
Finish
Complex but short, herby and spiced finish that demands another sip.
