Description
Northumberland's Ad Gefrin distillery gives its signature Tácnbora blended whisky the Port cask treatment with this addition to its Cask Finish series. This blend of Scottish and Irish whiskies initially aged in a combination of bourbon, fresh American oak, and oloroso sherry casks, followed by a six-month finish in ruby Port casks, adding layers of cherry and dark fruits to the gentle, honeyed malt at its core.

Nose
Frangipane, honeyed figs, summer berries, creamy vanilla.
Palate
Juicy layers of tangy, jammy berries, vanilla fudge, honey, and melon, with a touch of waxed citrus in tow.
Finish
Drying oak, candied nuts, dried cranberries, a touch of ginger.
