Aberlour from the year 2000! Bottled by German indie bottler Malts of Scotland, this Aberlour was aged in a single bourbon hogshead from 2000 to 2015, before it was bottled at 46% ABV. 318 bottles were produced.
Yellow plums macerated in honey, bushels of apples and a hint of nutty malt.
More honey on the palate, beeswax, lemon drops and diced almonds.
Oily malt, grassy fields and peach.
