Aberfeldy 18 Year Old - Napa Valley Red Wine Cask Finish, as the name suggests, takes the distillery's signature brand of Highland single malt Scotch whisky and pops it into Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks sourced from the Napa Valley, California USA. The finishing period was about 15 months of the full maturation, it was preceded by an initial ageing in a combination of re-fill and hogshead casks.
