A nicely packaged vodka, Pincer is infused with the flavours of Wild Elderflower, and Milk Thistle. The result is a creamy, herbal vodka, made with Scottish mountain water. The spirit has been diluted to 38% ABV as this is deemed the perfect strength for vodka by Dmitri Mendeleev, the creator of the periodic table no less.

Its a bit like a cross between a vodka and a Gin. Its only contains Elderflower and Milk Thistle so its not a Gin, but has a really interesting botanical flavor unlike Vodka. Not being a big Juniper fan I really like the subtly of flavors in Pincer. A Pincer and tonic is like a incredibly subtle Gin and tonic, without the dryness associated with Juniper. Its a spirit that dares to be different, I like this a lot.
What a pleasant surprise, My wife and I had been recommended to try it when we ordered a Vodka and soda, it really give the drink a lift, I'm a big fan.
I first tried Pincer when recomended by the barman at the Scostman Hotel in Edinburgh, and he was right, a vodka and tonic made with this is now one of my favorite drinks.
