“Being an active whisk(e)y drinker, this anejo is an excellent step into tequila. Notes of sweet vanilla, oak, caramel intermingle with earthy agave, fresh tropical fruit, notes of sliced peppers. A pepper finish A well balanced (in my view) tequila.”

Description
An aged Tequila from the brilliant Patrón in Mexico, this Añejo offering is aged in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak, and American whiskey barrels for over 12 months. The bottle itself is a hand-made piece of art, but the contents are truly sublime. A prime sipping Tequila, we'd also recommend trying this one in an agave-based twist on an Old Fashioned.
