Cabo Wabo Blanco
This is the Cabo Wabo Blanco Tequila, a phrase which rolls off the tongue rather enjoyably. The Cabo Wabo range was originally created for the Cabo Wabo restaurants, founded by Sammy Hagar (yes, the same Sammy Hagar who was the lead singer of Van Halen), though he has since sold his ownership of the brand. It's a double distilled tequila made with 100% blue agave in Jalisco.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruit forwards, with apple and lime. Followed by subtle earth, vegetal touches of roasted agave.
Palate
A creamy spirit, with continuing notes of lime and roasted agave, with a touch of yellow pepper too...
Finish
White pepper notes are there, with fresh citrus giving balance.
