G4 Tequila Añejo Bottling Note

Añejo Tequila from the G4 Tequila range, produced by Felipe Camarena at the El Pandillo Distillery. The whole range is produced using traditional methods with an environmentally-conscious approach, which is always a good thing. The Añejo spends at least 18 months resting in American oak bourbon barrels before it's bottled.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Juicy red apple and fresh green pear, followed by roasted red pepper and cut grass. Oily at points, with a dusting of brown sugar and cinnamon on the finish.

G4 Tequila Añejo Reviews

Near perfect
This tequila is a dream. Well balanced flavours of agave, peppery notes, fruit, sugar. The body is thick and oily. For some, this might be the perfect Añejo. I'm relatively inexperienced with tequila but I know what I'm looking for - I'd say this is the best I've had though I feel some things could be better and perhaps the things I think are missing can be found in other tequilas (though that's all a matter of personal taste). Regardless, I think any tequila fan would lap this up as it is very drinkable whilst still being distinctly a tequila.
