Style Reposado Tequila

Azul Reposado

An unbelievably good Reposado tequila, made from Organic agaves which are grown for over 9 years before slow cooking in traditional ovens. The fermentation is done using the company's secret blend of yeasts, and then comes distillation followed by triple filtration. It is aged in very fine oak barrels, and is bottled in these tall, handsome decanters which are hand-painted and numbered by local artisans. Clase Azul's incredible Reposado has been awarded Gold medals by the Beverage Testing Institute and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Roasted tomato, pomelo, dry earth and a slowly developing note of cedar.

Palate Vanilla-y and earthy agave notes. A touch of tropical fruit sweetness and honey.

Finish Subtle mineral notes paired with soft oak warmth. Creamy later on.

Shorten suite there is nothing like this tequila gone to heaven
On my 60th birthday it was the best tequila I have ever had in my life I wish I could live longer so I could get another bottle of this if I die before hand just put a shot in me hand and boring because I will go to heaven with this beautiful drink in my mind

Nice reposado, unique bottle, nasty price...
It delivers all the upfront sweet smoothness loved by the ladies and is surprisingly manly on the finish. The unique bottle has gained it instant recognition and wide distribution so its a very clever mix. Even cleverer is getting £140 for it! You can spend less than half that and get reposados of equal and greater quality on this very site, although you'll have to forgo the ceramics!

Perfection
Words can't even do this justice. Nevermind the glorious decanter the Reposado tequila is the highlight. The smokey sweetness makes for a perfect combination which can be siped on for days on end.

Smooth
I purchased a sample of this and now I have to start saving up for a full sized bottle! Very special tequila, almost like a whisky but much more complex flavour and so smooth, its too easy to drink this!

Brilliant
First time trying tequila neat. Amazing. Beautiful smell of vanilla and caramel. Tastes very smooth with hints of caramel, agave, and oak.

Great Tequila
Bought a bottle when in Cabo - best tequila I have ever tasted. Very smooth, sweet, with a mello finish. You can feel it hit your veins!
