By combining Californian pomegranate juice with orange flower water and can sugar, the Jack Rudy Cocktail Co. have created a top notch Grenadine - packed full of juicy fruit notes with a rich mouth-feel. An excellent small batch cocktail ingredient.
Along with other Jack Rudy products this one is a quality product. Flavour is superb and priced very conservatively considering its the best I have tasted and is very versatile for mixing.
Delicious - you can tell it's naturally made, makes a real difference to my cocktails and I actually love it just with soda too.
I tried the recipe but the pomegranate juice available is from concentrate. These guys use real pomegranate and it shows. This tastes amazing mixed with soda/sparkling water as well as in a punch.
Get a litre bottle of POM, add an equal amount of caster sugar. Heat gently and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add a few dashes of orange flower water. Boom! You just made a litre of the best grenadine you'll ever taste for about £3.50. Or... You can spend £12 and get this stuff...
