Tullibardine has given us the chance to taste their new make malt spirit! These types of releases are very interesting for whisky enthusiasts, as allow us to see what the spirit tastes like before it heads into the cask, so we can see what aspects of its character continues on into the whisky once it's ready.
Fruity malt (think bananas and honeydew melon), with helpings of baking bread and a little butter.
Heaps of fresh, subtly grassy malt, with some rather boisterous herbs and a touch more of that tropical fruit.
Spicy, with a little dollop of honey.
