Distilled December 2011 and bottled March 2014, this cannot be classified as a whisk(e)y on these here shores as it's under three years old. It is, however, some rather interesting cask strength single cask malt spirit from Roughstock distillery in Montana.
Caramel, molasses and dates with some estery malt.
Peppery greengage, flamed orange peel, honey and clove.
Fruity chicory.
A mighty fine malt spirit!
