Freya Woodsmoke Birch Spirit

Freya Woodsmoke Bottling Note

A variation on the Freya Birch Spirit recipe, featuring a smoky twist. It's made once again with distilled birch tree sap, but this times they've given it an infusion of oak, apple and birch smoke. It doesn't quite reach the smokiness levels of an Islay whisky, but it does add another dimension to the intriguing spirit.

Freya Woodsmoke Birch Spirit Reviews

Absolutely fascinating. Wonderfully unique

A product unlike anything else I've tried. On its own, it's got meaty, smoky and savoury flavours, reminiscent of BBQs and smoked ham. When mixed, a vanilla note sings at the top, adding a lovely rounded flavour.

Works wonderfully well simply with an aromatic tonic but adds unparalleled flavours to cocktails. I find it works well as a sub for bourbon in recipes that call for it.

If you're looking for something that's a completely different beast to anything you've ever tried, look no further
