Freya Birch Spirit Bottling Note
Freya Birch Spirit is a rather interesting idea indeed - to make it, the producers distil wild birch sap, resulting in an elegant, subtly earthy spirit! Enjoy over ice, or try using this in place of vodka in your favourite cocktails.

Perfect to impress friends at a cocktail party with
Really great alternative to your standard spirits for cocktails like gin or vodka - goes particularly well with citric flavours such as grapefruit. Definitely a cool one to pull out at a cocktail party as different to anything else I've personally tried before!

Confused product, beautiful bottle
Bought this as I'm from Finland and I grew up drinking Birch water.
Found this had a bland flavour. The earthy Birch flavours are lost and you are left with a watery vodka. Certainty no vanilla notes. Bit disappointed beautiful bottle. Just a bit of a confused product with an odd after taste

Went down a treat!
A truly beautiful spirit. I bought it as a birthday gift for my niece and she enjoyed it very much, her boyfriend (mixologist) made a few interesting cocktails and we were all pleasantly surprised with the smoothness (40% ABV).

Lovely natural flavours
Amazing natural flavours coming from the birch... coconut, vanilla, caramel and really fresh piney, floral notes. Very hard to pinpoint exactly what is so great about this product but a lot of people who i've had try it just say that it is so interesting and unlike any other spirit they have tried before. It also is incredibly flexible from a sipping drink, adding some new and interesting flavours to tonic, or as a different base for many cocktails. try it!

Try a Freya martini - make it just like a classic gin or vodka martini, ensuring everything is freezer-cold. I'd recommend the driest vermouth you can find, ideally Noilly. Unlike with some gins, a Freya martini is equally at home with lemon peel or an olive. If using an olive, try wiping the inside of the glass with cut surface of an olive first - that extra earthiness really compliments the woody notes of the drink.

I've discovered a whole new drink experience with Freya cocktails... WOW! What a refreshing taste. I never enjoyed gin so I missed out on such a range of cocktail options, but there is something much more natural about Freya, and I can drink it as a sipping drink on ice, or in a full blown range of cocktails that were always closed to me. Great idea, great product!

As someone who loves their gin and cocktails I was intrigued to get my hands on Freya and I wasn't disappointed! Earthy notes and a smoothness I was simply not expecting. It's now part of my drinks cabinet and makes a welcome change to gin!!

Freya - classy white spirit with interesting light agave and bourbon notes
This is a great addition to the spirits cabinet. The branding oozes northern European clean living and uncluttered lines and imagery. The liquid is opulent with great mouth feel. But the memorable point is the taste. Surprisingly - and refreshingly - for a white spirit it has some classy dark spirit notes. Subtle agave, and I reckon there's some bourbon in there. I guess the fact it's distilled form birch sap gives it some light intrinsic woodiness without ageing. Beautiful. Punches through tonic nicely, so mixes well, but great just over ice
