A South African spirit made in the image of the agave spirits we love in Mexico using actual, local Karoo agave. For the Reposado Black, the folks at Leonista tried to make something less smokey than its usual style of reposado and create more of a Tequila than a mezcal with lots of mellow sweetness coming from the spirit resting for six to eight months in old brandy American oak barrels.
