Lee Gang Ju is a traditional Korean Soju made with rice, Korean pear, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and honey — the name means 'pear and ginger liquor'. The recipe's legacy can be traced back over 500 years to the Joseun Dynasty, and it is now protected as one of the 34 National Culture Heritage Liquors of Korea. Try this over ice, topped with ginger ale or ginger beer, and garnished with ginger sticks or fresh cinnamon.
