Distilled in New York's Brooklyn by the wonderful Kings County Distillery folks, Empire Rye is, rather predictably, made predominantly rye. With a mash bill of 80% New York-grown Danko rye and 20% English malted barley, this spirit is aged in charred American oak, bringing all of those warming spices alongside some toasty cereal notes.
Fragrant fresh mint, a floral touch, subtle herbs and sweet nut butter, with vanilla and chai spices galore.
Maple syrup on fresh pancakes, with cinnamon-spiced apple cake, toast and blueberry jam, crystallised ginger and peppery spice.
A spicy finish in every sense, with peppery notes supported by a bonanza of baking spice.
