Copper & Kings Cask Matured Apple Spirit 4 Year Old (That Boutique-y Spirits Company)
A splendid apple spirit from Kentucky-based Copper & Kings distillery. Made from a base of apple wine selected for its crisp, high acidity, and highly aromatic character, which has been slowly fermented at low temperatures. The spirit spent four years maturing in a sherry cask, imparting rich, nutty sweetness to the fresh, juicy apples at its core. Independently bottled by That Boutique-y Spirits Company.
Batch 2 is a release of 139 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Homemade apple sauce and sweet, buttery fudge lead to silky oaken vanilla, butterscotch, and cinnamon.
Palate
It's brimming with toasted hazelnuts and candied almonds, joined by maple syrup, toffee apples, and gently drying oak.
Finish
Buttery apple pie, vanilla custard, and a hint of nutmeg.
