An intriguing spirit from Alkemy in Suffolk, distilled entirely from sugar beet molasses, ethically sourced from a factory just seven miles away. Aged in charred oak barrels, and bottled up without any additions, this ought to make an interesting alternative to sugarcane-based rums and spirits.
A truly different product to any other spirit I’ve tasted before. Incredibly smooth, and something that is delicious on its own or with a mixer. I’ve personally gone for neat with some ice, or mixed with a slice of lime and dash of botanical cola. Absolutely stunning.
