Berentzen Doornkaat is a very smooth and balanced German schnapps made with maize. This is thrice distilled and has a clean flavour profile.
Herbal, caramel-like aromas. Hints of coffee beans and digestive biscuit.
Corn sweetness, spices, cinnamon and buttery toffee.
Herbal, spicy finish.
It's a very quaffable spirit which we have enjoyed over many years when visiting Germany. Although expensive, we now enjoy it via Master of Malt!
