Kanpai Kumo Sake

Kanpai Fizu Sake Bottling Note

Fizu sake from Kanpai, the UK's first sake brewery. Fizu sure does sound a lot like fizzy, and it just so happens that this sake is sparkling! This unique tipple is also hopped, and works very well as an aperitif. Try in place of your usual sparkling wine or G&T.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Citrus forward, giving it a crisp and fresh flavour profile.

Simply incredible!!!
I love this stuff! Sparkling, brut dry, zero acidity. Keep it coming.

Happy surprise
I haven’t had much sparkling sake before because I usually find them too sweet. This was very pleasant however as it was fresher with a hit of the hops. Will get it again for an interesting gift.

Super stuff
Light and dry, love it. Whoever gave this a 1 star and thought it was strong probably thinks mayonnaise is too spicy. 5 star every time. Well done!

Wonderful & Inspired
So light and delicate, never had a sake made with beer hops before. Can't believe it's 11% goes down too easy!

Our go to family fizz
Love this sparkling sake so much, we had a few bottles over Christmas instead of Champagne - super light and smooth.

Awful sake
We purchased two bottles of sparking sake for Xmas for something different. One was Kanpai Fizu and the other was Akashi-Tai Junmai.

Compared to the Akashi-Tai the Kanpai is truly disgusting. It literally has a raw turps like alcohol taste. Don't know why it's won good taste awards.

If your after sparkling sake of recommend the Akashi-Tai instead
