Worthy Park Single Estate Bottling Note

This expression is drawn from American oak bourbon barrels and has been bottled at 45% ABV. Really impressive stuff.

Lovely flavoured rum with a nice afterburn

19th December 2021

Easy drinking but kinda simple and so what

I guess it depends on what it is you're looking for, but for me, this is too basic

On the nose, I get funk, varnish and marzipan, all pretty mild and balanced. Tasting, I get similar. A brief eruption of funk, and then sweetness, followed by dry woody varnish.

It's very drinkable, but very simple, and dominated by funk. Personally, I'm looking for a bit more than than that. Hampden offers so much more depth and complexity for just a few dollars more

Worth the money.

A genuinely nice example of a Jamaican rum. Funky start. Sips very well. Smooth on the finish.
