Jamaican rum from the famous Worthy Park, Select is a blend of 100% copper pot-distilled rums aged between 4 and 12 years in first-fill American white oak bourbon barrels.
Cinnamon, vanilla, banana, sweet molasses, dark chocolate, tinned peaches, and orange.
This release by WP is pretty solid for a session Rum. It's much like the Worthy Park 109, but not as strong. On the nose it had a lot going on considering its price range. To taste its got a bit of funk and a although it's only very very very short lived, it has a bit of fire. Happy with this one if it stays at a good price.
