
A blend of 5 year old Bajan and Guyanaese rums (aged in American oak), which is then sent over to Jerez for a further maturation in Dos Cortado Palo Cortado Sherry casks.
Vanilla, marzipan, molasses, oak, dried fruit, black cherries, orange peel and allspice.

This is an OK Rum, for me, the oak is to over powering and spoils the drink. I could not detect any Sherry flavour even when slowly warming the glass. I did not like this Rum much, but others will and fully enjoy it. You need to try this in a 3Cl sample first then try the 5 + 5, which is a bit more, but slays this Rum in every aspect. Kev Doncaster
