Wild Tiger Spiced Rum

Wild Tiger is a premium rum brand from India that has launched its very first spiced rum, made from sugar cane distillates, molasses and sugarcane juice in Kerala, South India. It's a column distilled rum that features an exotic blend of Indian spices before it was matured in American oak casks.

As you probably noticed, the handcrafted bottle has tiger stripes on it.

In very pleasing news, the Wild Tiger brand donates 10% of its profits towards Tiger Conservation in Southern India.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Orange blossom, honey and dried grass leads, with cardamom spice and petrichor underneath.

Palate Earthy nutmeg and black pepper cut through marmalade, molasses and creamy vanilla.

Finish Intense cinnamon and ginger linger.

Reviews for Wild Tiger Spiced Rum
Roaring success
Bought this as an anniversary present for hubby. Of course I got to taste it and it was superb. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others

not the best
Looks like a £20 rum, feels like a £20 rum and tastes like a £20 rum. Very spirity and burns as it goes down. When you add a mixer to it the bitterness of the spirit doesn't fade away. I hope they are putting better effort in saving those tigers atleast.

Roarsome
A spiced rum where you can taste the plethora of Indian spices. Beautiful drink with ginger ale and a slice of lime

Disgusting, worst spiced rum I’ve ever tried. I like them neat. This just tasted like a cleaning fluid.

Good Rum.
A fantastic drink, fab with coke. A very different pallate to the (many) other spiced rums that I've had - and one of the few bottles I might consider buying again.

One mighty roar
The most flavourful spice rum I’ve tried. Unlike most other Spiced rums which are flying with sugar and cinnamon this one is more layered and deep. Brilliant with Diet Coke. Tiger on the rocks is quite tantalising too.
Kudos to these Indian rum makers

Preferred as a mixer
I was quite excited to taste this Indian rum. Something different, and the packaging was amusing too.

First glass, neat, had a very sharp alcohol burn from it. Wasn't overly impressed. However, I left the bottle for a month whilst I finished off some other rum I had, and when I came back to it the harshness had gone. Still, I'd rather use this as a mixer than drink it neat.
