The entry-level expression from Westerhall Estate's range, which was redesigned in mid-2016, is their Westerhall Rum No.3 (which replaces the Westerhall Superb Light). An elegant, sweet rum from Grenada, great for cocktails and mixed drinks.
Masses of brown sugar and white pepper, with a hint of citrus peels hiding behind it.
I've recently discovered the Westerhall range and really, really loved them. I met the distributors Liana Collection and the UK Founder Annabel at an event in Mayfair a couple of years ago and loved the story. No. 3 is just a really solid mixing rum. It's got a great, lighter taste with honey and coffee notes and works beautifully in a range of cocktails including a Grenadian staple - Rum Punch!
