A deliciously smooth and tropical white rum here, originally distilled in Guyana before arriving with the folks at the West Midlands Distillery, who re-distilled it in a pair of copper stills named Doris and Lenny! Brimming with tropical fruit notes, the double distillation imparts a silky texture that makes this a pleasure to sip neat, and it'll pair well with delicate mixers too.
Wafts of tropical mango, pineapple, and plenty of exotic fruit lead the way with buttery hints of vanilla and peppery warmth beneath.
Not normally a white rum drinker but brought for the lovely mapped bottle and glad that I did. It is very smooth and has some lovely fruity notes, will definitely buy again.
