An impressive 21 year old rum here from the West Indies Distillery in Barbados. Distilled in July 2000, this rum spent its time maturing in a single cask, until it was bottled up by Hunter Laing for the independent Kill Devil collection. A total of 229 bottles were released, at a cask strength of 51.3% ABV.
Bold wafts of toffee apple, creamy banana with darker berry notes, a touch of leather followed by plenty of earthen spice.
