In case you couldn’t tell from the name or rather nautical packaging, Watson’s Trawler Rum is a Navy style dark rum, marrying spirits from Barbados and Guyana. The rums have been aged in their countries of origin, before they’re blended together in the UK. A great mixing tipple that should do very well with ginger beer and a good wedge of lime.
Thick, tarry molasses notes on the nose. This also offers up cinnamon and dates.
Coffee beans, spice and dark treacle. A rich, thick, slightly spirity palate.
Develops on oak and fragrant woods.

A smooth dark rum with plenty of burnt sugar and molasses in there. For the price it is excellent value. Neat over ice it is a great evening tipple.
Love Watson's demerara rum, thanks to my wife's uncle Roy in Aberdeen. My wife bought me a bottle of trawler rum, all I can say I've found something missing in my life. The taste is strong, rich and smooth a real dark rum from over the seas. Knocks spots off Lambs and woods dark rum. Cheers Watsons.
I got one for my sister xmas, loved it fits nicely between the other rums she has had, nearly all gone so sent her you site
First class rum!
So good that I still recall drinking it first time on holiday in Scotland about ten years ago. Best sipped neat.
