You may know Valdespino more for their Sherries, but they've also released some spirits over the years, too. This right here is a rum from Panama and the Dominican Republic which have been aged in Sherry casks (obviously!).
Cinnamon and nutmeg give it a core of herbaceous spice, followed by orange peels and tropical fruits.
Layers of thick Pedro Ximenéz-style sweetness develop, with zesty grapefruit and bergamot in tow.
Chocolate raisins and waxy fruit.
